Album Notes
"Unresolved" Reviews

"Bob McParland has a poetic style, backed by a choir of angels on this album. Love- the force of it, the transience of it and the loss of it- is his main theme. This is nothing new, perhaps, but there are a number of different styles on this album." Jean Lewis, Rambles.

"Bob McParland is a romantic poet at heart and it shows in his lyrics. His songs are largely reflections on love, encompassing joy, loss and the questions after heartbreak we have all asked ourselves...His voice is full of emotion and quite unique. I hear a little similarity to Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music... He has put together very nice, rich arrangements with great lush harmonies filling out the sound." Stacey Board, Muse's Muse.

"Bob McParland's need to write songs has the urgency of a vital biological drive..." Jerry Jastrab, North Jersey Newspapers.

"Always, first it's about the songs- the stories they tell, the humanity and life that is in them. This is a very good writer." - Walter Smith

When a reviewer commented that there is something like "a choir of angels" on th
Bob McParland's album is a lively collection of songs that speak to the heart. The album's strength is in the heartfelt lyrics, which reflect upon the hopes and trials and wonders of love. "Love Holds On" and "Change Like the Wind" exhibit a kind of pop-rock energy. Much of the album, however, is filled with nicely produced ballads that tug at the heart.
