Album Notes
'Tebe, Boga, Hvalim' is the Church Slavic version of famous ancient Hymn 'Te Deum Laudamus' (eng. 'We praise Thee, O God'), which is ascribed to St.Ambrose (Bishop of Mediolanum, Milan) and St.Augustine (some assign the text to Nicetas, Bishop of Remesiana).
The Hymn is traditionally chanted on the Saturday of Orthodoxy.
The same Byzantine Chant became the base for earlier single 'Psalm 33' performed by Mefody's Choir's female staff. The new edition of that beautiful melody is arranged by Rada Po for the mixed choir.
