Album Notes
Singer-songwriter Meg Alison crafts heartfelt songs that reflect personal yet universal experiences, ranging from first love to deep loss, and enjoyed collaborating with friends and family in the production of “Catch My Fall,” her first solo studio album. Meg’s songs cover a range of topics, including songwriter’s procrastination, being a mom, quilts, belonging, nature, and love - found and lost.

"I listened to your CD first thing this morning and was stunned by the cumulative impact. Individually the songs have lovely melodies and attractive chord progressions. But the sum is much more--I get a sense of the human condition. Your warm voice seems to be linking four generations of a North American family." - Wendy Silk

Meg has sung in choirs since elementary school, touring with the Davis High School Madrigals and UCD Chamber singers and joining the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir at Carnegie Hall. Branching out from her classical training, Meg contributes vocals, guitar, and percussion to Mm Mm Good and other ensembles in northern California, and loves to harmonize with just about any contemporary music she hears.
