ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My name is Meghan Rose Scott.

I'm a composer from Dallas and I've been composing for about seven years now. I have experience writing for short films, animations, television shows, video games, podcasts, audio books, commercials, graphic novels, webshows, and other media. I also have extensive knowledge on music technology and production and I know how to build a synthesizer, manipulate audio, mix, and master tracks.

I've studied film composition with veteran composers including Larry Groupe (Straw Dogs), Roger Neill (Mozart in the Jungle), Garry Schymann (Bioshock), Rick Marvin (Grimm), George S. Clinton (Austin Powers), Bill Piyatut (God of War), Graham Reynolds (Sister Aimee), and Neil Anderson-Himmelspach (spachmusic.com). I've attended film scoring workshops in California and at NYU and I've been offered internships at the Television Academy Foundation and at MIBE Music. I've also participated in the All-Star Association of (Music) Producers Beat League, where I was ranked first, picked as a fan favorite, and placed third.

Besides film, I enjoy songwriting and music production. I am passionate about music technology. I am an active member of the Laptop Ensemble (an electro-acoustic performing group) at my university, and we hope to perform at TMEA in February 2020. I am also an active member of the Grammy U organization and I am affiliated with ASCAP.

I also am a vocalist.

I'll be getting my degree in music composition and film in 2020.
