ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A versatile and creative singer who without sounding cluttered can give a Nashville twang to one song ("Blue Star Highway"), a breezy, jazzy quality ("Never Just One Reason") to another, and still sing a lovely restrained "Danny Boy" in the best Irish tradition. This version of "Danny Boy" is used in a Danielle Steel made-for-tv movie, "Star," for which Megon did the vocals.

"Here I get to play with some of my favorite musicians and friends. People ask me what this CD is like, and I tell them, it's original acoustic music (with the exception of "Danny Boy" - wish I'd written that) in the true folk vein." - Megon

"This is a warm, unabashadley sentimental album that is nicely produced and effectively showcases McDonough's high, clear voice and capable songwriting. - Dirty Linen
