ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With some of the best musicians in Chicago this CD was a pleasure to record. Fun and eclectic, there's a little something for everyone. Along with a couple surprises! It's always so heart warming and Soul satisfying to take a song, maybe a simple folk song and redraft it. Surrendering to a new idea, a fresh idea that can take the song someplace you didn't see coming!
That is certainly true of our version of Ring of Fire, written originally by June Carter on the AUTOHARP! I knew I would take some heat for daring to record Streisand's hit People - but I did! I threw caution to the wind, and even copped a couple of her notes. Sue me. She is one of the greatest voices of our time, and I would sing along with My Name Is Barbara for hours. She is a gift, thank you Barbra.Thank you Peter Polzak for the great arrangements, and for the laughter. You too Jim Massoth, Bill Harrison, Nick Coconato, Mark Rio and Bob Pamieri. And thank you listener. I do so love to sing!

Megon never dissapoints. I have everything she has ever recorded...even back fromt the 1970s. I loved the jazzy style on some songs. The Beatle song is a wonderful story/tribute. Amazing Things is, well, amazing.

Wonderfully arranged with that beautiful voice! Left us waiting for the next one. We've introduced other family members to the Megon McDonough experience. Thank you!

I Will/Beatle Love
These 2 songs remind me of me, though I am only inclined to sing in my car. But I love the lyrics and the style and most of all the message. AWESOME!!
