Great Music from Great People
Melodic and personal, this latest album from Mel and Vinnie is a mellow look at life in its latest distillation. The title track is charming and sweet. Fema Trailer is hilarious with a worthy guitar solo by Doodyhead frontman, Vinnie Cerniglia. Been in the Desert Too Long both a toe-tapping number and wry political statement -- this duo’s trademark. Strong vocals on White Wings, a fine tribute to Pete Seger’s folk classic. But my favorite is the bluesy Going Back to Brooklyn, know just what they mean. Great music from great people.
