Album Notes
Sometimes she enjoys to sing jazz, sometimes she prefers pop and rock or classical music, and sometimes she likes to try new things. This is exactly what Karin did when she worked on her album SOMETIMES.
The result is a a swinging, jazzy pop album with a slight touch of classical music.

With this concept one should not be surprised to find the songs of Cole Porter and Sergei Rachmaninoff right next to those of Status Quo and other Pop, Rock and Jazz legends.
Karin Melcherts own composition SOMETIMES made it straight into the Top-20 charts in her country - only one months after release!

Inspired by the sounds of Diane Krall and Norah Jones all songs on the CD were exclusively recorded with acoustic instruments such as acoustic guitar, double bass, real drums and percussion instruments, saxophone and a 13-piece string orchestra.
