Album Notes
I'd been dreaming of creating an album of love songs for years as I spent so much time pining away for it. So much has happened since my first musical labor of love. In anticipation of meeting and marrying my sweet husband, I started to write him songs and ended up personalizing a few of them for my friend's weddings. After finally meeting and marrying the man God chose for me in 2010, we danced to "love you anyway" at our wedding, the song I'd written for him the year before we met. Longing for love is living a life through rose colored glasses, courtship is living in the "enchanted forest" and marriage has been a profound journey of growth, patience, peace and joy. The only way we truly learn how to love is by loving and being loved unconditionally. I'm forever going to be surprised at the depths of love. This album is my experience with love in all it's miraculous beauty over the last 7 years. Enjoy!

Bottled Sunshine
I was touched by the lyrics and haunted by the melody of the very first song, and each one thereafter. Some of the songs are light hearted and catchy and others are moving. Each one transports you into the artist's mood and reminded me of what it's like to be young and in love. The title is simple but PERFECT. These songs could fit in a huge variety of movies or TV shows, they should be heard by a huge audience.

I absolutely love Melissa's ability to showcase the variety of her voice and musical style. She takes you on a musical ride from a perfect love song, to a song with a sound that's straight out of the 20's, to another that is fitting for a Disney movie. Great album!!
