Album Notes
Time Machine is the result of a project long dreamed of by Mel. Her first record was embryonic during years of dedicated studies and refinement attempts. After her trip to the United States, where she took the Independent Artist and Performance course, and recorded the first demo of her song "Follow u", Mel made sure her dream was coming true. Upon returning to Brazil, she contacted producer Gabriel Povoas and invited him to produce her project. And that's how within a year, 'Time Machine' was born, full of time sounds, its vibrant colors and amorousness. All five tracks, written and interpreted by Mel tell a unique love story, taking the listener on a journey to the heart. The disc walks by the sonority of the folk, going through the rock, indie, pop and even mpb. With sophisticated arrangements, some unusual instruments are also brought to brighten all the eccentricity and musical richness, such as the banjo and zither in the track "Made for". A beautiful trio of strings is formed by the contrabass, cello and violin in the EP's title song and a transverse flute becomes the protagonist in the provocative "Hum." Time Machine is an invitation to new places, sounds and tastes.
