Album Notes
"Thank you for the beautiful music you compose. Listen to it daily in my car and I love it."
- Lorna M, Fan

"V you are pure genius...your music transcends all words and fills the spirit with joy.."
- Carole G, Fan

Melodious V started playing piano at the age of 3 when he heard Arthur Rubinstein play Chopin’s “Heroique” Polonaise. Following 10 years of classical training, he realized his childhood dream of playing this piece and he won regional and state competitions (the German press called him “a little Mozart”). He then had a short stint in Oxford when he was 15, where he improvised with Nick Lloyd Webber and discovered his yearning to express himself freely and find his own signature sound.

It took 17 years of life, pain and a fateful encounter with his soulmate (and now spouse) Hannah in 2010 to awaken that signature sound and the melodies that had lain dormant for so long. 2 years and many beautiful melody-inspiring moments later, he produced his first album Sand, Sea & Cartwheels (released November 2012) at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco. The album was well received with tens of thousands of plays across SoundCloud, Spotify, YouTube, ReverbNation and the website.

In 2015, his good friend Mike Malchicoff (a reputable LA producer) gifted him a week-end to create his second opus, “Of Tulips and Lions” (released January 2016). Who knew that you can play a Steinway 1928 through a Korg SP-250?! Fun fact: only recently, Mike was asked to be a producer on Kanye West’s latest album.

What drives Melodious V to keep creating? Besides his infinite love for H & K, he wants to enchant and lift as many souls as he can :-)
