A must have!
In a year filled with great new prog albums, "30 Silver Pieces" stands out.

From the opening track, to the closing, this album is a pleasure to hear. After listening with a critical ear, there is nothing about this album that I dislike. It has an outstanding sense of melody, catchy lyrics, and very talented musicianship.

This CD is worth well beyond the purchase price.

one of the best albums I have ever heard, only Rush could do better
I don't have time to sit here and type up a huge review, but I just wanted to say that this is one of the few albums I have ever heard where every song is good enough to be a number one hit single. everything about this album is amzing, the instruments, the vocals, the production, it is all superb. I recommend it to anyone who respects good musicianship and is looking for something that makes them shout out "HOLY F*CK THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!"

Melodramus = HIM + Incubus + 311
I confess, it took more than one listen through the album, but the Melodramus have officially won me over. Born from the school of melodic metal, the group opts for singing over screaming and wins every time. The group rides on heavy guitar riffs and plenty of epic solos, all the while blending in keyboard effects without sounding corny or overdone. Though the ballads on the album aren't bad, the group really shines in their more upbeat numbers. If there is a disappointment to be found, it's that the album is split almost 50/50 between the two rhythms. While this is on the whole a great album, you'll likely want to check them out before picking this one up.

Good tunes, good times.
If you don't plan on buying anymore more music for the rest of the year, make sure this CD is your last purchase. You will not be disappointed! The musicianship on this album is fantastic. The band is tight which translates into a great listening experience. Zakkary Hale's vocals are top notch. He can solidly hold notes for a long time with no cracking or wavering his voice at all. It's just pure. Trust me folks, buy this CD. You won't regret it.
