ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The One is a 21st century rock song. Lyrically, it's boy loses girl, or girl loses boy, with a solid dose of Want You Back. This is no re-invention of the wheel, it's just a really really round effort. To wit:

Where did u go, tell me where have u been?
U been out outrunning us again
How is it so easy just to close your eyes?
Well let me sing u a lullaby

Cause you're the one - u broke the last thing down
U left it laying on the ground
You're the one - did u even ever try?
U never even kissed me goodbye

When u told me to tell u we'll never part
U took those words right out of my heart
So hard to be The Man I Was
Before u told him that u had enough

Cause you're the one - u broke the last thing down
U left it laying on the ground
Yeah you're the one - did u even ever try?
U never even kissed me goodbye

Never Was The Way It Is
Never Was The Way It Is

Yeah you're the one - u broke the last thing down
Yeah you're the one - u broke the last thing down
Yeah you're the one - u broke the last thing down
Yeah you're the one - I still want u around

If you ever broke up with somebody you didn't mean to break up with, this is what you would've said if I was you.

Now THAT'S Rock N Roll!
This is a great rock song - has a really BIG sound and he keeps it simple and hooky.....it does remind me of the great 90's Post Modern Rock via Replacements........SUPER JOB on this song! Excellent! Love your voice on this!......give us MORE of this!!!

Worth the broken heart
This is the most accurate description of a broken heart I've ever heard. The music is happy, the words are sad. I don't even know how to feel right now.
Love it. I want more! A sequel, with the 'if I can't have you I don't want anyone' vibe going on. Where was this song last fall when I had my heart stomped on?
