Album Notes
These tracks were created to supply Yoga practitioners with body, mind, and spirit materials to use in the Every Man, Woman and Child International Peaceday project. The musical themes provide a thought stream of our highest intentions toward global harmony and connectivity.
I met my collaborator David "Vito" Gregoli along the path of fellow musicians connecting in the higher vibrations focused on peace.
In 2016 I was at an awards ceremony for the CHANT version of Every Man, Woman and Child, Global Peace Song Awards , and Vito was there. I struck up a conversation. I had visited his interesting website many times and was intrigued ( sometimes jealous) by his world instruments collection , So when I thought of making Yoga music Vito was my main man ! Vito works closely with a wonderful vocalist Kimberly Haynes and he brought Kimberly onto the tracks 1 and 3. A very wonderful collaboration and by the way Vito and me both belong to Indie Collaborators group.
For several years I have been recording with my trio, Laura Halladay on many different kinds of flutes and Maksim Velichkin awesome cellist and a musician of my highest regard. We have released 3 albums previously , Echappees Etheriques 2016 , Etherial Escapes, 2017, and Sincero 2018. Naturally I had to have them on the 2019 release, and so we gathered at Vito's new studio new location in Topanga Canyon , made music, had a picnic, and this is shared on Every Man, Woman and Child Yoga Flow Suite track 3, We the people. I am happy to share this collaborative music and encourage you all to participate, share with many and continue the flow!

Raise the vibrations with Merrill Collins
Merrill Collins has established herself as an artist who creates beautiful ambient landscapes for us the ever intrigued listener to roam within, in my view she has gone the extra mile on this her latest release, one that includes the skill set of David Vito Gregoli and chart topping vocalist Kimberly Haynes.
When I first played this album I was in rapture and awe of its overall beauty, its stylish performances reverberated calm and tranquillity around my senses, there are three long form compositions, the first of which is the delightful Every Man, Woman & Child Yoga Flow - Om Mani Padme Hum. The stylish work on piano by Collins is utterly sublime and Haynes vocals of this sacred chant are so harmonious, that it created a truly lush ambience of great peace and happiness around me.
The second of the tracks is the longest off the album and called Every Man, Woman & Child Yoga Flow II - Ambient Journey, here Vito Gregoli utilises his skills on the sitar, and to such a degree that you are literally transported to a realm of utter tranquillity. At over 20 minutes in duration the listener has more than enough time to drift on this vast serene ocean of sound and energy. Perfect for Yoga indeed, and I am now mindful to try this release during my personal morning rituals and disciplines. Collins touch on the keys in this piece are completely in harmony with the Sitar of Gregoli, thus almost re-creating a moment energetically that was captured with great style, back in the mid 80’s by the artist David Naegele and his Temple in the Forest album.
Our last offering and the piece that completes this wonderful suite is called Every Man, Woman & Child Yoga Flow III - We the People. Ending with an arrangement like this is truly touching and as such I found this offering deeply moving in its overall beauty. Haynes returns on vocals and partnered with Collins in a symbiotic musical relationship, manifests a pure energy of positivity and fluency. Vito Gregoli plays the electric bass; the strings (Cello Maksim Velchkin) here were charm filled and the flute (Laura Halliaday) combined with the percussion and Collins keyboards, were simply the perfect way to leave what in my view has been the most loving and peaceful album I have heard this year and with ease one of the best produced thus far.
Every Man, Woman & Child Yoga Flow Suite is an album that is part of a bigger project, but standing on its own has to be one of the best new age albums released for absolutely years. Perfect performances by all involved, a totally uplifting collection of songs created out of love for the love of us all, and one that I have no problem at all thoroughly recommending.
