ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Particles in Space was originally inspired by a presentation made by a group of volunteers from Palo Altos , Beyond War. The people came to a meeting I was at and showed a video they had produced about how many nuclear bombs existed on our planet Earth and how many times the planet could be blown up and destroyed. They included information on how much money was being spent on this destruction. At the conclusion of the presentation they passed out little blue cards for the audience to sign up and commit to helping their cause, nuclear dis-armament.
Being a musician I didn't see on the sign ups anything in my field so I drew an original box to sign and commit, "I will write songs"
A week later I was asked by the local United Nations Association and Bay Area Interfaith Council to provide music for an event.
I recorded a cassette ( this was pre-digital) on which Particles in Space was one of the songs.
Here we are in 2017, revisiting this , and I am grateful to be able to share this again and hope all who listen will also come into our commitment to be loving as our center and our bond.
