The track KIND was recorded December 3rd and is dedicated to Merrill's son, Chris Ray. It is a preview track to the forthcoming CD, "Sky Watching".
"Sky Watching" cello/piano CD was co-created by Michael Fitzpatrick and Merrill Collins June 24th thru December 2013, to be released 2014. Pre-sale begins 12/21.

it floats
This is a beautiful song. The piano asks... the violin answers, then teaches, telling stories that float over the question like the wind over ripples. And yes, kind. Like an elder with a child. Who soars, on the last note, to their own innocence.
