Album Notes
Hailing from Dickson, TN, Mic. Carr is an “eclectic, yet well respected” artist whose music is jam-packed with good vibez and substance. He uses his past and present experiences to paint a picture of hope as someone who made something from little to nothing. Beginning his writing at age 10, Mic. initially just composed poems – it wasn’t until high school that he began to convert those poems into songs. Upon attending Christian Brothers University as a student-athlete, Mic. met fellow teammate Harry Green, and the two began taking music more seriously during their downtime as they each showed much promise and potential. After two years at CBU, Mic. transferred to Middle Tennessee State University where he then met the guys from both Green Lite Rhythm and Good Vibez. The connection was instantaneous, and as a result, the music created has been nothing short of sublime. Mic. gains his greatest influences from the likes of André 3000, Nas, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak, and J. Cole.
