Album Notes
Kids of all ages will be hooked from the first notes of “Music is Fun”, through the whimsical “Saladbar” and “Be Careful” to the fading guitar of “Kitty Lullaby”.
Michael Cladis loves rhythm, harmony, and singing, but most of all, he loves listening and playing music with his friends. Lots of ideas for these original songs came from his cats and their funny adventures in his backyard.
Other ideas for “Music is Fun” came from Michael’s favorite things like Guitars, Bass, and Drums. The music from The Beatles, The Chipmunks, CSN&Y, The Sound of Music, Curious George, Paul Simon, Little Einsteins, Satchmo, Ella, and The Duke also were a big influence.
Michael has the privilege of performing concerts at least seven times a week for kids ages 1-8. He has produced the “Wake up with the Waves Children’s Concert Series” on the Santa Monica Pier from 2007-2012. At every show kids keep him up to date on what is important in their world and Michael loves to listen.

Here are some highlights about the songs from “Music is Fun”.
Mikey loves to say “Rock On”. How many times does he say it?
Music is Fun: Are you ready to take off on a fantastic journey?
Cuz-Y: Why does a butterfly fly? Cuz-Y, that’s why.
Saladbar: I love foooood, especially broccoli, Please don’t take it awaaayyyy
Be Careful: Jump, but Be Careful, be awareful of where you’re gonna land. (Kitties too)
Moving is Fun: I say Walk, Fly, Gallop, Skate, Hop, and other movements with music.
Bunny in the Backyard: Can you solve the riddle at the end of this funny story?
Curiosity: What did the kitties bring into the kitchen?
Yeah, I Feel That Way Too: I like you and I know you like me. Two part harmony.
Music is Fun – Refrain: Les Pauls and Strats through Marshall Stacks set to eleven!
Almost Nap Time: OOOH NOOOO!
Kitty Lullaby: In dreams you can fly.

Too much fun!
I am a regular at one of Michael's standing LA gigs, at Giggles N' Hugs in Century City. My kids are totally in love with Michael, his music, and now this album. It's just incredibly fun, catchy and sophisticated work, filled with clever little touches and great production values. I cannot recommend this album highly enough!!

20+ Years of Love from Michael
I have been blessed enough to hear Michael's music as a kid and now for my nephew Teddy. Teddy listens to Michael's music in the car and at home but loves Sunday evenings when he listens to these songs LIVE! What a gem this CD is!!
