Album Notes
Michael McCormack arranges, performs and customizes original music for film, television, internet and video productions. His scoring capabilities span a variety of genres ranging from classical, romantic symphonic to modern "electronic" music.

Michael has composed, produced, and performed music for many high-profile projects, creating original music for the epic "Jaws" documentary "The Shark Is Still Working: The Impact and Legacy of JAWS."

McCormack has also provided original songs and scores to award-winning features like the original "Back To the Future" Documentary "Looking Back at the Future," "The Agonist" and "The Tyler Mullins Story" for Agenda Films. Michael composed the score for Erik Hollander's award-winning short,"Big Ticket" and also provided the elegant score for the award-winning emotional film "Alius Primoris," a winning finalist in the 2008 Doorpost film project.

Additionally, Michael provided a lush-electronic "symphonic-techno" dance score for "Balocity," a ballet-inspired workout DVD recently lauded by Prevention magazine as one of 2008's 10 best workout videos, featuring Deanna McBrearty of the New York City ballet, and also provided the classy opening and closing theme music for "Movie Geeks United!," the most popular movie talk show available on Blogtalkradio and i-Tunes with over a million downloads a week.

Recently, McCormack composed and recorded the music for the thrillers "3 Hands" for J. Michael Roddy and Chris Raucci, and "Lamp Post Lane" for Producer/Director Rick Jansen.

In 2012, the Nashville Composers Association selected a film-score track by Michael McCormack to be included as part of a showcase of Nashville talent to be distributed to top film & TV executives visiting the annual Film-Com event in Nashville, TN.

His electronic album "Neon" was released in late 2014 with more music to come.
