ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
S.O.S. (Some Original Songs) is a collection of tunes I co-wrote with my talented friends. Either Carl Carter, Karen Fiore, or Ray Greene, depending on the song. S.O.S. could also stand for “Songs on Soaps” as many of these were used on daytime TV dramas. Shows include ABC’s “All My Children” and “One Life To Live”, and CBS’s “The Young and The Restless”. Songs from this CD were also used on ShowTimes “Soul Food”, and most recently NBC's "Kath and Kim"

The fact that they were used on the soap operas explains the spacey music and often sappy love lyrics. But there is some variety. I start with an up-tempo Latin style, and there are also Country Music and Rock cuts.

Most everything was recorded (and mixed) by me in my home studio. Exceptions would be Frank Basile’s drums and some of Carl’s bass parts and vocals. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy the music!
