Album Notes
"Paleozoic" is a sonic exploration of the period when complex life forms first appeared in the earth's oceans. The music features woodwinds, Moog synthesizers and guitars alongside digital electronics and virtual instruments. The album is in two parts: the first half is made up of of five intricately composed pieces blending progressive rock, contemporary classical and electronica. The second half is more ambient, abstract, and atmospheric--five sound paintings of an ancient earth.
