Album Notes
Michael Radtke hits all of the right notes on ‘Growler’ . The former front man for the legendary New Jersey bar band Mad Fables demonstrates a sophisticated and wide-ranging songwriting prowess with original songs that encompass a wide range of topics. The title is a double entendre for Radtke 's occasional gravelly voice and a reference to 64-ounce beer jugs, Radtke plays several different instruments (he calls it his ‘Multiple Personality Quartet’) and enlists a few friends to play on some of the tracks as well.
