Album Notes
Comprised of a group of friends who honed their craft in Seattle’s blues music scene, Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers has been playing together since 2012.

Sin Comin’ On marks the group’s first recording effort, driven by lead singer Michele D’Amour’s songwriting for three of the tracks. These explorations into the rich and varied flavors that the blues genre has to offer examine common themes in human relationships and in the world today – bullying, the presence and sometimes grudging acceptance of women in music, and temptation.

Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers relies heavily on rhythms, provided by the rock solid team of Rick Bowen on drums and Patrick McDanel on bass. This is particularly evident on the title track, “Sin Comin’ On,” a funk-infused tune with a gospel ending. Guitarist Frank Snow rounds out the foursome with guitar chops developed from decades of supporting other blues players and attending blues jams. The band looks forward to continuing to collaborate and create new material.
