ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Midnight Vice was formed in 1983 by Rick Hart, Rob Furland & Sandy Hyde
in their hometown of Richmond, BC, Canada.
The band recorded several demos and was later invited to perform at a rock festival in Belgium which regrettably the band was unable to attend.

In 1985 a track from their last demo, entitled ‘Vice Squad’, was included on US label New Renaissance’s 1st Metal Sampler LP, SPEED METAL HELL. This album would be released on several labels worldwide and garner the band attention from heavy metal fans overseas.

Not long after this release, the band took a lengthy hiatus from 1986 to 2007 before being reformed in 2008 by original guitarists, Rob Furland and Rick Hart. The new line-up, which includes longtime friend of the band Kelso on drums, immediately began writing and recording tracks for their new CD ‘Evidence’. These ten tracks were recorded over a two year period and each have a character of their own. While reminiscent of the bands older material, they have a more melodic vocal owing to the contribution of another longtime friend, Cook on lead vocals.

The coming year will see Midnight Vice performing live and recording several brand new songs to be released as an EP later in 2011.
