ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
There’s something to be said for “destiny”, when the pieces of the puzzle just seem to fit. And for Queens NYC producer Mighty Fuzz Young, he was born to be a producer, and make it on his terms. Fuzz’s life’s soundtrack includes heavy doses of Rock, Hip Hop, Dance, and R&B;, and he uses that diverse blend in his production. Elements of his “brass-knuckle” style that represents the streets, together with radio-ready material...he calls his distinct sound “Fuzion Music”, and it’s most certainly what the radio airwaves have been waiting for!

Fuzz was raised in a “Rock Band” Italian-American family from Ridgewood, Queens - his father the manager, and his uncle the lead singer/guitarist - who grew from basement studio sessions to charting a Top 10 Billboard hit. That family history guided Fuzz’s passion for music, since he could appreciate both the artistic and industry sides. He would use his the music industry upringing to his advantage, getting more involved in the music business from an early age. At 18, Fuzz started his first business, Da Woodz recording studio, with a bang - a $100,000 private facility complete with top-of-the-line equipment, 3 recording rooms, and a full lounge. Clients included producers The TuneHeadz, Reefa, artists Uncle Murda, Papoose, M.O.P., The Arsonists, and companies such as AOS Entertainment & ESP51. By 21, Fuzz joined forces with Queens NYC Hip Hop mainstay Cody “Gustapo” Masino - both as a producer with Illseed Entertainment and as co-owner of The Cuckoo’s Nest recording studio. That move opened Mighty Fuzz Young’s music to the Queens Hip Hop scene - names like Akinyele, Ali Vegas, Cormega, DJ Superstar Jay, Domination, Jin, Royal Flush, Stack Bundles (R.I.P.), and Tragedy Khadafi - and also helped to fuel the release of his debut project "For My Generals".

The 2007 compilation “For My Generals,” hosted by DJ Superstar Jay, was entirely produced by Mighty Fuzz Young, in collaboration with Chris "Excel" Rodriguez and Illseed Entertainment. The project features artists such as Pitbull, Uncle Murda, Grafh, Sha Stimuli, Jin, Tragedy Khadafi, Ali Vegas, Copywrite, Jaz-O, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Thirstin Howl III, Royal Flush, Geda K, and even an appearance from “Ashy Larry”, Donnell Rawlings. The project was received well, and was covered by various outlets including HipHopGame, RapMullet, and Ozone Magazine.

Stay tuned for future projects from Mighty Fuzz Young and his “Fuzion Music” sound, as he begins to enter the worlds of R&B;, Pop Music, and Dance Music. Mighty Fuzz Young is determined to take that sound to the charts, and to the world!
