Album Notes
I'm Mike Brunacini. Some call me Bruno. I'm a songwriter. I've wanted to be a songwriter since I was a child. When I was 3 years old my favorite movie was Disney's Fantasia. There is something about music that resonates with me on a deep level. I've been writing original songs since 2005. I released my first album in 2012 and since then I've released two EPs and a second full length album. The day my second album was mastered was the day I started writing my third album.

My third studio album is called "Cherry Springs." it's named after the dark sky State Park in Pennsylvania. Unlike my previous two albums, there is no unifying topic or concept. I set out in early 2014 to write a solid collection of standalone powerpop songs. I've often said that I couldn't survive without songwriting, but now it is more than a coping mechanism. My goal for this album was to tell stories. Each song is an individual story which, for the most part, have little or nothing to do with me.

I'm usually more comfortable behind a piano, but this album is predominantly guitar-driven. I really got out of my comfort zone during the writing and arranging phase this time. There is a lot more rock in this album than in previous material. The pop is poppier. There is an upbeat feel throughout most of Cherry Springs that makes this album immediately more approachable and infinitely more enjoyable.

If you have followed my career I think you'll agree that this is my best work to date. The songs themselves, the recording, the mix, and the performance are top notch. I'm extremely proud of this record and I hope you love it!
