ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mike Cook & The Jam Shack Uunderground originated in Green Cove Springs FL. An old standing house was gutted out and only the beams held the roof and side walls up. There, we worked together to come up with catchy guitar licks, pleasing to the ear vocal harmonies, and unforgettable lyrical melodies. Grand piano, guitars, drums, violins, saxophones, bass guitar, organ, and percussion instruments. Most of these songs are written from our life experiences playing shows in St. Augustine, FL and surrounding beach areas. This album rocks, sways, rolls, and chills. Dance, drive, relax, or do anything in life listening to this album.

GREAT DEBUT EFFORT!
This is a very consistent record from start to finish. It has a focus on melody and is rooted in traditional pop rock and influenced by countless artists spanning six decades. This effort is reminiscent of early works by Gin Blossoms infused with Jack Johnson and a few hints of The Beatles. Sure to be a summertime hit!
