In songwriting, writing from the heart and about what you know is important and that is exactly what singer/songwriter Mike Corrado does. He incorporates what he knows into his own blend of music. Some have referred to Mike’s style and genre as New Country, Pop, Rock and Singer/Songwriter but Mike simply calls it “American Music.” His latest EP “What You Work For” captures Corrado’s best songwriting and story telling to date. From feel good songs like “What You Work For” and Going Ugly Early” to the emotionally charged “Making More Rain” and “Silver Tags” as well as an intimate studio acoustic version of his well known “Still in the Fight,” this EP is sure to please. Recorded in Nashville, TN with an A list line-up of musicians to include: Shannon Forrest on drums, Tom Bukovac on electric guitars, David LaBruyere on bass, Reese Wynan on Hammond B3, Tommy Brothers on slide guitar and Adrian Duke on piano. Produced by veteran producer Noel Golden, this new EP is a crowd pleaser. Have a listen and hear for yourself.
