Album Notes
Every track on this CD was recorded and mixed in one short session on a Sunday afternon. We did only one take of each song, and I called the tunes just as if we were playing a set in a club. There were no overdubs or fixes of any kind... There simply wasn't enough time to do any! After the first ten tunes, we took a little break, then Gordon showed up and joined the trio for the encore. The result... A set that truly captures the freshness and spontaneity of a live recording.

What a sound!
I love this album! If I’m feeling down, this recording takes me to a better place.
Beautiful playing. Great choice of material. And that guitar sound!
It reminds of the famous remake that John Coltrane said about Stan Getz’ playing: “We’d all sound like that if we could”.
P.S. If Mike reads this review, maybe he could tell us something about his guitar set-up on this recording.
