ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As one of the top fundraisers for Carly's Crossing, a charity swim to raise funds to fight pediatric cancer, I got to swim with Olympic gold medalist Amanda Beard on Gallagher Beach in Buffalo New York. That lead to my documenting that experience in the amusing swim song "On Gallagher Beach". The lyrics, harmonies and instrumentation sounded so uplifting that it lead to adding 11 more stories wich came to be known as the CD " Don't Stop On Stairs". Each song has a hero who deals with the life challenges that face us all; among them change, aging, materialism, committment, love and the the passing of loved ones. The mandolin adds a almost bluegrassy foottapping feel to these tunes while the lyrics, vocals and harmonies tell each compelling story. Enjoy!!
