Album Notes
This is Mike Dolphin's second full album, teaming up with the same band members who helped create Dreams of Island Shore. Produced by Juno award winning producer Steve Dawson, this album features songs inspired from various sources. Hello Stars is an homage to Elon Musk and his various successes, including references to the very first rocket launches from Kwajalein in the South Pacific. Uncle Tim pays respect to a late family member who despite having Down syndrome, was an amazing person who accomplished a great deal in his surprisingly long life, including original paintings of the night sky. Rainy Day is a simple song about overcoming depression, which is followed by the upbeat love song, Summer. The album ends with "Yer So Bad", which is the first song Mike Dolphin sang on stage. As a tribute to the late Tom Petty (and co-writer Jeff Lynne), an extra verse has been added to continue the tale of the sister and her ex-husband. Each song features the impeccable guitar work of Steve Dawson. While Bark And Bite brings in the phenomenal Jim Hoke on the harmonica, which opens the album with a bang.

This album was a joy to make, and we truly hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did in making it!
