Album Notes
Mike Freedman's latest release takes his music in a new direction and showcases a blending of the many elements of his musical background. On this CD, Mike features his expertise as both an improviser/jazz musician and a nylon string guitarist. Mike's love for many musical styles blend well in this mix of Latin, jazz and other worldly rhythms and textures. The instrumental pieces flow along, are easy on the ears and enjoyable to listen to while adhering to a radio format and sound, having strong hooks and melodies.

Since graduating from Berklee College of Music, Mike's musical projects have included two singer-songwriter CD's, with placement on Dawson's Creek and high rate of play on College radio across Canada. Mike followed these with an instrumental CD entitled, "Guitar Textures", intended as a backdrop for relaxation and massage therapy.

Mike is multi talented having also written several scores for films that have played internationally at festivals and is a well respected producer, having worked on several CD's for other artists. Mike has extensive performing experience as both a solo instrumentalist and within various band settings.
