ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This song, "I'd Love to Change the World," is a cover written and made famous by the great artist Graham Barnes a.k.a. Alvin Lee, leader of the band "Ten Years After." The original is from the Space In Time album from 1971.
I used to do this song in my band in the early 1980's after I saw Mr. Lee and band perform as "Ten Years Later" as he called it at that time. I was struck how the lyrics and message of the song, seem to be quite apropos for our issues and dialogues going on today in 2012. My hope was to do a rendition of the song that even Mr. Lee would be proud of after listening. Peace.

Mike G: We know your music well at the Brown household. I personally remember the original when I was ending my tour of duty from the Vietnam war. You have done a great job covering this song my man.
