I just received a CD from Mike Grosshandler…He sings/performs each word from his heart…His new CD “Blue Skies Black” is intoxicating…
Bravo, Mike!

Great Album
This is a fantastic Alternative Rock album that you'll be glad you bought; I know I'm glad that I bought it. The versatile voice of Mike Grosshandler and the fantastic drums that accompany his expertly played guitar will keep you listening.
The title track of Mike Grosshandler's latest solo album, "Blue Skies Black," is a teaser that doesn't disappoint. The guitar coupled with his multi-faceted vocals give the song a catchy edge. It stays with you long after you've finished listening. Before you've heard the entire song, you'll be singing the chorus right along with him. "Blue Skies Black" is followed by the equally wonderful "Status Quo." The song opens with a resonating sound that you can't help but love. The low tones of the song compliment his and Phil Taylor's great harmonies.
Each song has a different sound; each song strikes or serenades you from a different side. Once you listen to the fun guitar and catchy lyrics of "Everything's Fine," you will find yourself singing along every time - and sometimes when you aren't even listening to it. "Fish in the Sea," "The Words," "Florida," and "Sometimes" are perfect examples of well-crafted and well executed Alternative Rock.
My personal favourite on the album is the soft and powerful sound of "Drops." The last three songs on the album, "Drive Me," "Too Many Reasons," and "Without You" are perhaps the best ending to an album I've heard thus far. "Drive Me" brings us the longing guitar we've come to love from Mike Grosshandler. The guitar in "Too Many Reasons" will give you every reason you need to buy this album. It's a song that will appeal to people who enjoy any genre of music. The album's last track, "Without You," provides a strong rock outro to a great album.
If you give it a listen, you will not be disappointed.
