ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is my first CD of entirely instrumental music. All my previous releases have included some instrumentals and I have been playing this kind of music for many years. When I moved to Nashville in the early Seventies my first band was the instrumental Jazz Fusion band Montage. This band included famed Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule bassist Allen Woody, Lambchop keyboard player Tony Crow and Barefoot Jerry's John Moss. Even when we all eventually ended up in a band backing up ex Kiss drummer Peter Criss we still were doing instrumental stuff on our own. This new CD "Space Between Whispers" is an outgrowth of those experiences and an exploration into previously unchartered waters. Being a musician for me means following the music wherever it takes you. This is what I do on all my projects , which is why they are all different. I really love playing the guitar and am grateful to have made a living at it for the last 36 years. I hope you find something here that makes you smile.
