ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Nine new songs from the Mike Strauss Band.
Getting a little help from a few friends this time out.
Benji Hughes lends unique vocal talents to two tracks and North Carolina legend David Childers sings a duet and plays a mean harmonica on a song.
Former Doc Watson sideman and guitar virtuoso Jack Lawrence contributes mightily to two songs including a rare mandolin performance.
Pat Walters, a member of the world famous Spongetones, contributes ukulele and keyboards to a few songs.
That said, these contributors only enhance what this long running (and sometimes award winning) band do.
Overall, the production is a little more polished and the group has captured some nice performances and dug a little deeper this time out.
