Album Notes
The Mind Sirens "Recordings 1989-1993" is a compilation of singles (originally released on former vital Chapel Hill label Jettison Records) and unreleased songs from one of Chapel Hill's best kept secrets. The group as it appears in these recordings, often succeeded where other late 80's/early 90's Southern pop bands failed by tempering the gothic, sometimes dark overtones of their songs within an otherwise bright pop framework. 20 songs strong.
