Album Notes
It's surprising how many ideas for the songs on this album came out of long hours of waiting in airports and train stations. Those times when you have nothing else to do but watch the world just move along, while you're sitting in between places and people. But these in-between moments offer a kind of inspiration that's hard to find anywhere else -- and all I've done is try to put a few of these moments into words and set them to music, and had some fun with it along the way. As for the name of the album -- it's taken from the title of the second chapter in G.K. Chesterton's book, Manalive. I suppose these twelve songs could be a kind of soundtrack to the life of an optimist -- the one who lives each day believing that he can be thoroughly converted in ways he never saw coming.

M. C. Campbell

Exceptional new voice
A gentle, lyric poet who lifts hearts and minds. Listen once for a gentle touch; then follow the lyrics and listen again and again as you enter the magic and understanding dawns. A new voice for a new generation. Kudos.

Extraordinary sound and lyrics
A real voice that speaks to what all us really feel inside. Great lyrics that say what we cannot always express.
