ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Misha Piatigorsky is a pianist, composers, and producer living in New York. He is best known for his work with his trio. Also he is the brainchild of the epic musical experience that I called the Sketchy Orkestra, It is rare to find Misha playing solo piano concerts. This album captures exactly that. In July of 2016, Misha was invited to play a solo concert at the TD Victoria Jazz Festival in British Columbia, Canada. The concert was recorded and now it is available for everyone to hear. The artwork of of the album is done by a great artist friend, Anthony Fatato. The back photo was taken by a dear friend, Serena Beck, and the album was mixed and mastered by another dear friend and fellow musician, Sam Minaie. Darryl Mar is the executive producer of the album and Ermolay Romanov is the creative. Go ahead and dive into the crazy "Alice in Wonderland" - like imagination of Misha and let him fill your ears with beautiful notes and the silence in between.
