ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In June of 2017, pianist Misha Piatigorsky, bassist Danton Boller, and drummer Rudy Royston decided to capture the essence of the trio by recording three consecutive nights at their beloved house of jazz - Zinc Bar in Greenwich Village in New York City. The idea behind the recording was to capture the live energy and spirit of this trio, without any editing. Nothing was planned or rehearsed. But this trio has been playing together for over 8 years and the level of communication among the three has reached a particular level where no explanation is required.
