Album Notes

Miss Behavin's second CD is a Christmas CD, most bands wait until their fifth or sixth CD to do a holiday album- well, all I can say is that we are really kicking ourselves for not having named the first CD "Greatest Hits" or "The Best Of"
Our Christmas CD, Dirty Little Elves...

a country cowboy Christmas dish guaranteed to satisfy the holiday hunger.
spicy flavors of western, swing, Cajun, blues and rock combined irresistibly for a delicious Yule-time musical stew.
this CD will bring a smile to your face, and maybe a tear.
From our very original version of Silent Night, Heilige Nacht - the traditional Christmas sound in English and it's native German.
to our blues rendition of Rudolph.
It's got just enough Kitsch to keep it Christmas and enough Kick to make you want to listen to it over and over.

Christmas in Texas
Miss Behavin' is fronted by the irrepressible Leslie Morgan and is probably the best German honky-tonk band you'll hear. Morgan actually hails from Abilene, Texas but the band is based in Dusseldorf, Germany and has been touring together for four years. Besides Morgan, the band includes Yvonne Allsopp, Joerg Kinzius, Miro Andewall, Olaf Scherf, and Johannes Kassenberg. Dirty Little Elves is actually the second album from the band. The first album is First Offense.

The band's musicianship on Dirty Little Elves is great (even by Texas standards), but the real highlight is Morgan's vocals. The two standout tracks, in my opinion, are "Home for Christmas" and the title track. Perhaps it is a coincidence, but neither song is raucous. Miss Behavin' gets the groove of these downbeat/offbeat tunes perfect, and Morgan's sultry singing is irresistible. Both of these tracks, plus a bilingual version of Silent Night/Heilige Nacht, are in our normal rotation. I'll certainly include one in our Christmas in Texas special Sundays at 4pm CST.

Honky Tonk Xmas at it's best
The lead singer contacted me about playing her song on my live365 station and after hearing her I just had to buy the cd!

My husband summed it all up when he said she sounds like a "dirty" Patsy Cline- Patsy Cline meets the years the 2005!

The group is awesome - I look forward to hearing more from them!

Dirty Little Elves will make your holidays swing!
Great for instant Holiday Spirit and a group sing-along. Will leave you humming with a light heart and a bounce in your step! The Dirty Little Elves make for fun holiday company! Clever, original, irreverently reverent!

Hate Christmas Records?
You'll love this one all year round. A refreshing and modern take on the classics with updated lyrics, laced with wit and humour, supported by excellent singing and playing in a range of styles. Some brand new (try Dirty Little Elf) and including an effective bilingual version of Silent Night. And check out the recipe for Gluhwein (mulled wine) in the booklet!

The CD was great-the best Xmas album I've heard in years

This year's must-have addition to your Christmas CD collection
I got this CD as a hostess gift at Thanksgiving. The disc itself looks like vinyl - nice touch. But it's the music that makes this one a keeper. They've coupled their interpretations of traditional tunes with original songs like Mistletoe (one of my favorites) to make a CD you'll want to listen to again and again. And the Gluhwein recipe in the CD jacket looks like it's worth a try too!
