Album Notes

Mission in the Rain represents the quest to fulfill each of its members' personal imaginings through the words they write and sound they create.

While attending URI, Eric Nicastro, guitarist and lead vocalist, met drummer, Pete (Pepe`) Constantinidis, and the two began weaving in and out of local bands for three years searching for the perfect sound.

Their triumph was apparent when bassist, Pete Fayan stepped on to the scene in the spring of 2000.

His funk-based style and rhythmic orientation complemented the soulful, pop-blues aura of Eric and Pepe`.

Only recently, percussionist Jason Nicastro was added to the group contributing various conga beats and strong harmonic vocals.

His versatility has proved to be an important asset, occasionally picking up the trumpet and playing keyboards adding the perfect touch of color to this quartet.

Mission in the Rain has already established a large group of supporting listeners through the production of their first CD On Our Own.

Mission in the Rain has, and continues to become both a visual and ear pleasing band for those out for a good time.
