Album Notes
RRSMBB was produced by Rick Stone. It was recorded on a shoe-string budget, but doesn't sound it. Diverse arrangements all aiming for the same target. Some of it rocks like hell, some is laid back and dreamy. Dig them crazy cellos, man.

'There're twists and turns on the album that take you through the intensity of classical music, the charming thought of 70s rock and roll, and the energy flow of punk rock in one highlighted blur. The songs are addicting, and you begin to recognize and appreciate the band's influences: The Clash, The Replacements, The Minutemen, and John Coltrane.'
Virginia Ulrich, Transworld Skateboard Magazine

'M2M seems to be content with playing songs that mean something to themselves, and refuse to buckle under to the politics of the music business. Although this record was produced at home on the computer, it was done so painstakingly, as shown on tracks 3 and 4 that, besides being good solid songs are accentuated with incidental loops and sound effects and (my god!) organ!'
Portland Online Music Resource

'Guaranteed to please after the second or third listen, Rockandrollspidermanbasketball is a labour of love dedicated to the heart of rock and roll. And power to the people!'

'...this is diverse collection of simply excellent, consistently well written and catchy songs that should grab listeners with a strong grip and wanting more to hear.'

'Philip's voice has in some moments a slight country touch. That together with the earthy sounding music puts him close to bands like Son Volt or Wilco. What ditinguishes Mission To Mars from them is the use of samples, loops and beats.'

'Golden has a somewhat sleepy baritone with a hint of rasp that is reminiscent of both Paul Westerberg and Evan Dando... the imaginative loops and more common instruments give him a varied sonic palette that makes his first-rate pop songs and meaty hooks stand out from the rabble. It's a winner.'
