ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Although I consider myself an unabashed rock performer, I grew up watching all those old biopic movies like "The Gene Krupa Story" and "The Glenn Miller Story" and learned to love Swing/Jazz. Add that to my early years as a drummer playing jazz in small combos before I got into rock, and you get a head full of jazz and swing influences to go with groups like the Doors, the Cars, and even Nirvana and Green Day.

I hope you love Swingin' Christmas as much I as loved creating and singing it. It's a bit of a departure for me musically, but I think turned out even better than I'd hoped. So much of Christmas is filled with the sounds of great jazz and swing favorites by modern artists like Michael Buble’ and Harry Connick Jr., as well as classic swing-era singers like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet. If Jim Morrison sang Swing, who knows what we'd get! So, why not a little Christmas tribute in song!
