ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Etheras [Ether] is the title of MK-O 4th album, released March 2015.
The album works in two directions. On one hand as a follow up from Blues For The White Nigger [their 3rd album - 2011], continue their flirt with jazz and blues.
On the other hand they bring this flirt home to their Greek roots. References to traditional Greek music idioms are more traceable than before.
However, ‘Ether’ is not aiming at becoming ‘the new approach to the Greek song’, after all the album is mainly instrumental with the exception of two songs [“Ah, Them” and “Befitting”]
Τhe Greek idiom is more present in a sense that it combines domestic and foreign elements in their thematology without however altering their sound which is electronic rock.
