Album Notes
Born on 1980 in Evry near to Paris, Mylene L. Chamblain
knows the artistic world since the age of 4.
First, interested by the drawing and the world of imagination, she dicovers her attraction to the musical expression at 13. She takes drums lessons during one year and begin to sing while an exercise on a classic blues song.
Mylene stop drums to learn the guitar by herself and will compose her first own song in 1994 with the track "Hold Fast" (Title of her first studio album in 2004).

In 1996, she settles at Toulouse (France) and finish her studies. At the age of 19, Mylene works for the "Country Club" of Mirande (Country Music Mirande Association)

but her many direct contacts with the differents musicians who play in the Club will make her understand that she wants to follow an artistic carrier as singer/songwriter.

At 22 years old, one of her musican propose to her a trip over the USA and they will spend 40 jours on the south roads of USA, riding during 6000 miles (from Miami to Texas)
on the board of an oldsmobile they bought when they arrived at Miami. A Rockabilly band of New Mexico "The Memphis P. Tails" propose to her a show after each of their concert at Albuquerque until her departure. This is a real success and singing her songs in english in the land who saw the Blues
and Country music growing will be her strongest experience.

In 2004, she produce her first album studio 11 tracks : "Hold Fast" in which Bernard Sellam, leader and guitarist of the blues band AWEK will participate for "Everytime","The Pink Sandias", "Poor Womanizer" and "When You spread your wings".
She begins a mini tour of promotion in France and in England where she is managed all the week by Clive Rawlings, english animator of "Oxygène FM" radio.
Now, Mylene lives in Belgium where she works and play with 3 musicians(Jean-Paul Kuypers : lead guitar – Vincent Misson : drums – Jérôme Hindricq : bass).

Far from her roots, she makes live her music following experiences and affinities with sounds writings lyrics which often make references to strongs meetings, feelings, travels, and loves. It's rare that Mylene invents stories. We note a certain evolution of style between "Hold Fast"
with more accents of Country and Folk music and her last Maxi CD "Belly Songs",with more Blues-Rock, Pop, and Blues-Jazz sounds. Many amators tell about her that she is the "french Sheryl Crow" but even if the comparison honors her, she needs to say that her music comes from her deep heart and feelings.
