Album Notes
The Conservatorium Guitar Ensemble was founded by Matthew Marshall in 1995 and is established as New Zealand's pre-eminent guitar ensemble. It was formed to give valuable and important performance and ensemble opportunities and experience for young guitarists studying at the Conservatorium of Music. The Conservatorium Guitar Ensemble has given countless critically acclaimed performances to diverse audiences ranging from primary schools, high schools, universities and professional recitals. An important inclusion in almost all of its performances is music written by New Zealand composers.
