Album Notes
"A new revival of funk and rock n’ roll...
Inventive grooves with a lot of soul.
Breakin down the doors, Stealin all the shows, Blowin all the minds, Breakin all the rules"
- Lyrics from Track 9 - 'Cover Song'

The music of Mojo Fix will change everything. This group of young songwriters are extraordinary, producing a debut album set to stun the music industry and rock fans world-wide. All 15 songs on their "Up The Dosage" album are incredible assets people will enjoy for years.
The lyrics are profound. These guys are true poets. And when lead vocalist Heath Jones sings, you know he sings from his heart... you feel his emotions inside; his joy, his anger, his pain.

Songwriter and guitarist David Crisci is a true master of his art, and well on his way to producing legandary music like those who have inspiried him most: Hendrix, Page, and Zappa.

Performing live, you won't be able to keep your eyes off Mojo's bassist Kristie Mottes. She's gorgeous, and she rules her bass (that's nearly as tall as she is) like no other. And she does it with high-energy and passion.

And when you hear the contributions of drummer Joe Szwelnis, you'll know he's another master of his art, that's passionate about what he does. Even after drumming most of his life, he continues to refine his skills by jamming with other legandary drummers on a regular basis.

Together as a team, this band is poised to compose and produce new music that will change the history of modern rock.

After three years of creating music together, the 'Quadraphonic Four' of Mojo Fix are stepping up to pioneer the Steel City rock scene. Their aim is to solidify Pittsburgh's role in re-writing Rock History with their self-produced debut album titled 'Up The Dosage.'

With over 70 minutes of genre-bending rock music in 16 tracks (including the hidden bonus acoustic track) 'Up The Dosage' is best classified as "dynamic rock". Their influences are spun from an array of rock super-stars topping the charts over the past fifty years. Mending classic rock, metal, punk, and even jazz into a unique sound, the tracks of Up The Dosage capture true rock-lovers on the first or second spin.

Each member of this rock quartet brings different influences to the table. Front man and vocalist Heath Jones has been moved by such bands as the Beatles, Pennywise, CKY, and Superjoint Ritual over the years, and he's as dynamic as a front man can be in the entertainment business. Guitarist David Crisci was inspired to pick up his ax by Jimi Hendrix, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Janes Addiction, and Frank Zappa. More recently David is indulged by the style of bands like System Of A Down and Modest Mouse. Female bassist Kristie Mottes has used music as a source of inspiration from a young age and was heavily influence by the likes of Nirvana, Danzing, Pantera, and old-school punk rock. Drummer Joe Szwelnis has assimilated his style from drum corps and jazz studios. His influences include all great music, especially Led Zeppelin, Herbie Handcock, The Doors, Metallica, and recent progressive rock bands like Tool and The Mars Volta.

Mojo Fix's live performance is graded Triple E... for Energy, Enthusiasm, and Excitement. This modern rock band is ready to take the stage to entertain millions, and prove to the world that their songwriting and artistry is worthy of acclaim by artists, the music industry, and rock fans worldwide.
