ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"What they play is Tex-Mex Irish and I promise you, you've never heard the like" - Ireland's Hot Press

The earliest available Mollys' CD, this one packs a good dose of fast tempo tunes with a strong traditional Irish bent. The tunes include reworks of traditional songs such as "Three Drunken Maidens," and new ballads and pub songs in the traditional style written by singer/songwriter Nancy McCallion. Catch the original Mollys, Nancy McCallion, Catherine Zavala, Kevin Schramm, Dan Sorenson and Gary Mackender, early in their career when the Irish influence was at it's strongest.

Great folk music!
This is a great album with its mixed southwestern US & Irish folk roots.

Worth the price of admission just for The Haggis, I'm telling you.
