Award-winning spoken word poetry coupled with Mong-Lan's enchanting Jazz piano. Sultry, profound, comical, quick-witted poems from Mong-Lan’s book, One Thousand Minds Brimming: poetry & art, and Tango, Tangoing: poetry & art.

Internationally acclaimed, multi-artist poet, writer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer, painter, photographer, and dancer of the Argentine tango, Mộng-Lan left her native Vietnam on the last day of the evacuation of Saigon. With several jazz albums released, this album is an amalgam of her award-winning poetry and soulful jazz piano. Winner of a Pushcart Prize, the Juniper Prize, the Great Lakes Colleges Association’s New Writers Awards for Poetry, she is the author of eight books and chapbooks, the most recent of which is One Thousand Minds Brimming. A Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and a Fulbright Fellow in Vietnam, she received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. Visit: http://www.monglan.com
